Science is all around us. The Science Fair was an excellent opportunity

for the students at Neithercut Community School to participate

in hands-on-learning.  Congratulations.  We are proud of you.

On Thursday, Neithercut students enjoyed the program "Don't Miss the Mark" presented by motivational speaker Mark Williams.  Mr. Williams spoke about  life skills and core values which encourages students to be the best they can be.

Neithercut Elementary students had the opportunity to view shows in the Sloan Longway Planetarium’s Portable Dome Theatre on Thursday, March 29, and Friday, March 30, 2012 in the school gymnasium. The Dome was paid for by a grant from the Flint Classroom Support Fund and Neithercut’s Advisory Council. Students in Grades Kindergarten through Fifth Grade viewed 40-50 minute animated shows which taught them about the planets, stars and asteroids in our Solar System. These shows provided students with an exciting enrichment opportunity and allowed them to gain an understanding of the Earth in space and time.
